Before signing at Shapes R In I would spend weeks at a time bed ridden due to rheumatoid arthritis and chronic late lymes. Since starting with Jose not only have I lost weight and developed muscle tone. I now have energy and strength to help get me through the day. “Jose’s methods” help increase my flexibility and joint mobility and by doing so I am in better health than I have been in years. Aside from helping with my joint and soft tissue damage, Jose has helped increase my core strength to help alleviate the pain from a herniated disk I have. It’s refreshing to not have to wear a back brace everyday. Jose helped significantly decrease my back pain.
Since joining Shapes R In I have been able to become increasingly independent and to me that is theworld!

I have been a marathon runner for the past four years and was training for the New York Marathon in November 09. Jose contacted me because he noticed some problems with my running posture. After a couple of sessions with him I noticed increased flexibility, my posture improved and my core was stronger. He gave me a
new set of stretches to practice on my own so I could work on my flexibility. We worked together during September and October, and I was able to complete the Marathon in 3:48:00 on November 1.
Jose is knowledgeable and dedicated to helping athletes perform better. I am running more smoothly without tightness on my muscles. I believe any athlete would benefit from Jose’s methods and dedication.

A team. I'm surprised how hard you have to work, I need speed strength and balance. I'm getting stronger, kids aren’t knocking me over, I’m knocking them over. I'm not afraid to go in the corners anymore. I’m surprise it happened so fast. Teammates noticed I'm bigger and quicker on the ice. Better balance through squats to stay on my feet. I've gotten stamina from the treadmill, balance by working on my abs...."
